Forged Steel

Spread the love

I was thinking about the process of forging steel, and realized that in order to make steel strong, it is heated, hammered, cooled, heated again, and the process is repeated multiple times.  The end product is a piece of steel that is much stronger as a result of the pounding and tempering.

In many ways, that is what happens in life.  In order to become tougher, we have to endure hardships to really appreciate our blessings.  After all, how can you appreciate up if you haven’t seen down?

That is what gratitude does, when it consistently reminds you of all of your blessings, even through the hardships.  A gratitude journal helps you to reflect on all of your blessings and abundance.

Embrace an attitude of gratitude and use a gratitude journal to help you overcome life’s struggles, and you too will become strong like forged steel.
