When All is Said and Done, More is Said

Spread the love

As you can imagine, I talk to a lot of people about the amazing power of embracing gratitude as a choice for your lifestyle.  When I talk about the positive effect of using a daily gratitude journal, invariably, people will start a sentence with:  “You don’t understand…….”

Now we all know that when someone says:  “You don’t understand”

The next thing that is coming is an excuse.  It made me once again realize how easy it is to talk about something as opposed to doing something.  You know the old adage…..  “Talk is cheap”

Take a moment and think about how embracing gratitude would shift your mindset.  When you focus on everything you have versus what you don’t have, you create an abundance mindset.

When all is said and done, more is said.  Remember how powerful your actions are and how loudly they speak.  I believe they say a ton about you without you ever opening your mouth.

I still marvel at the words of my shoeshine friend when he commented on all of the pictures of the locally famous people that got their shoes shined at his stand.  “They never talk about themselves…….. he said.

Now the gratitude tip of the day:  Spend some time today thinking about something you can do and not say.  Then, maybe it will be:

When All Is Said and Done, More Will be done……
